We are not limited to these industries and welcome inquiry from companies in any industry. Our employees have a solid background in circuit board assembly and we use state-of-the-art technology and equipment to yield high-quality products. Everyone at EE Technologies, Inc. is committed to providing the best possible service seven days a week.
In August 1995, Sonny Newman opened the doors of Meridian Electronics,
an electronics component distributor. Starting with just 3 employees and
in a down market, by 1999 Meridian had grown to a $28 million a year company.
Recognition that the electronics business could be volatile, the desire
for stability, and the satisfaction of making a product led Sonny to purchase
a small assembly shop. This shop employed 20 people and focused on providing
assembly services to its handful of local customers. With this purchase,
EE Technologies was started in March of 2000. In October 2000, the company
moved into a new facility in south Reno, with all new equipment and a staff
of 40 people. In December of 2002, we expanded our facility by 25,000 sq.
ft allowing for improved production efficiencies and capabilities, as well
as improved inventory management.
The EE Technologies team has focused on continual improvement and has enjoyed significant growth. The company’s commitment to regular capital investment has resulted in an increase of production capacity, and is exhibited in the 63,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility EE Technologies occupies in Reno, Nevada. Located in the heart of the premier Northern Nevada business-park surrounded by other technology focused corporations, EE Technologies, Inc. serves a growing list of customers who demand the highest levels of quality, value and service.
In October 2005, EE Technologies expanded further with the opening of a facility in Mexico. The equipment, process, and training in the Mexico facility mirror the operations in Reno. Both facilities are ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified, and have capacity for future growth.
As we continue to look to the future and serve our existing and potential customers, EE Technologies recognizes the need to expand our offerings further. We proactively look at where the industry is heading and how EE Technologies can best satisfy electronics manufacturing needs. EE Technologies will continue to enhance its offerings to better serve our customers.
